Just A Fun Day....

We did things a little different this year....Porter's birthday landed on Easter and Grandpa and Grandpa Smith with Taylor and Ashley were heading back home....So, we celebrated Porter's birthday and had an Easter Candy hunt. I asked Porter what he wanted to do and to what extent he wanted to do everything on this day, so we did!

We woke up and had candles.....

 He loves to light his own candles now:)

Of course in a grapefruit because it is the most delicious this way!

 So proud of his work!

Aaron and I have been eating really well and Aaron has been doing cross fit like a mad-man. 

I noticed his big arm muscle and had to take a picture:)

 And a little turnover too!

We loved having Lyla and her cute mommy and daddy stay with us for a few days.....Her and Tiv played so well together. 

 They are both growing and learning just the same so it's fun to watch them doing everything like each other.

These girls are too cute! I'm pretty sure Tiv wasn't hitting Lyla....at least I hope not!

I think I forgot to get a picture of Porter with all his presents....I'm really not quite sure how that happened. Bad Mom! His best present was some roller blades. He is getting to be amazing at roller blades and has been using mine because his were too small. He now has ones with bigger wheels than his dads! 

Karen and Lin also brought down Madi's presents for her birthday. She got 2 pillowcases and a really softy blanky....

So excited to open presents 2 weeks before her birthday!

She is so happy and surprised.

We then headed outside to do and Easter candy hunt.

Got their bags and are ready for the candy part.

There were money eggs and one was on top of the playhouse.

When the party died down we headed to Winger's to get some lunch...

Tiv was being so dramatic with her eating the popcorn. She would throw her head back and just eat away. Too cute!

Grandma and Grandpa along with Taylor and Ashley headed home after lunch. Brianne and Chase stayed with cute little Lyla of course! Brianne, Madi, Tiv and I did a little more shopping then headed home for the babies to nap. Aaron had a soccer game. We dyed eggs while Aaron was at his game then met up with him to have some dinner at 25 Main. That is also where we got some delicious cupcakes!

I think Porter had a pretty good day. He planned to go to the movie "The Croods" on Monday since we weren't able to squeeze it in for his birthday.
