Our last day in Europe was filled with more castles, rain and some fun entertainment!!
This day we headed to the Frederiksborg Slot. It was built in the 1500's!
First though.....Remember the parking in Europe is kinda ridiculous! Most cars are tiny and we were driving around this 9 passenger van:)
Well, this little car needed to be moved so we could fit our big 'ol van..... So, the boys moved it:)
Yep, they just lifted up the back end and moved it a LITTLE closer to the car in front.
See, they have tonz of extra room!
Now, for the castle.....
It was very pretty and intricate inside.....
Such pretty paintings of Christ.
My favorite one.
I believe....The dude that painted these is the ones guy that paints the pictures of Christ that we hang in our church.
Taking pictures from inside the castle-through a window-So pretty of the Castle Gardens.
Too bad it was so cold. They were very pretty!
More pictures of the Garden.
Just another cool painting.
This was Madi's favorite dress that the Queen of Denmark wore.
Madi and Aaron liked this piano too.
The "other" wing of the castle.
The waters-Mote-surrounding the Castle so back in the day people couldn't break in.
It's been about 2 hours...Aaron needs to break out his Cheetos!
The trip is about over and Aaron is getting low....I don't think he was sharing with Madi at this point....
My cute people!
With the flag in the garden
The castle.
Madi and dad with more treats!
Such a pretty castle!
The three of us!
Oh, and another picture!
I love when Aaron surprises me with a kiss.....that is pure joy on that face of mine!
Happy girl -and guy, I hope-am I.....
I found this quote and loved it.....
And that is just what Aaron said when he took this picture....
Probably my FAVORITE moment on this trip!
We then went walking around Copenhagen to try and find any last minute souvenirs.....
Madi found a Mime.....
He put his hat on her:)
And.....we ended our vacation with a movie!!
The movie was in English but had Danish Subtitles.
I forgot what the movie was called....
Just waiting for the movie to start!
I loved getting pictures like this while I was gone!
I am so thankful that Ashley and Grandma Smith took care of my babies while we were gone....We had a great time and knew or babies were taken care of!
