Well, we woke up and were ready to do this!
We got bussed up to the start line and hung out for about 1/2 hour....
We took pictures....
Me, Tina and Joanna....
Yep, we were doing this!
The race went well I ended up Joanna and Tina because at the beginning we were talking to a girl and she said to not hold back on the hills or it will hurt your knees. Well, with me having knee problems anyway I decided to listen to this advice. I was very glad I did!
Coming in at the very end....I was pretty tired but not feeling awful!
I had some drinks along the way but no food or goo.....
Feeling Good!
Just calling Aaron to find out where he was.....He was supposed to be at the finish line with the kids, but apparently he got hung up burning weeds at the "Old Farm" Lot:) Go Figure!
I had no room to be upset though. I missed him coming across the line on his first MARATHON! Whoops!
They made it:)
With the cute sign Bud made for us!
My running partner in crime.....Amazing how we figured out and helped each other so much on this adventure....9 kids. Sometimes on the treadmill, sometimes outside. Sometimes talking, sometimes listening to music. Sometimes together, sometimes alone:)
These were my splits for the run. I was pretty happy with them:)
My average was an 8:25 minute mile.
And this is my so happy face that it was over and proof that I lived through it!
My standings on the race.....
That night Madi had a piano recital.....
First we went to Sakura for some yummy sushi. This girl loves Sushi!
I though she did really good!
This girl might be too hard on herself!
I think she is pretty dang amazing though!
I love what she has done with the piano and that she is so good at being a self motivator and SO good at practicing....
I love you Madi!
