Even though Porter is in 5th grade I really think he enjoys when I come in and help out in the class. I have learned through Madison this year that there is no room or time to help once the kids get in to 6th grade. I guess the teachers figure it is time for them to "grow up" and be "big kids". I'm kinda sad about this but I guess it has to happen sometime.....
This Christmas I also helped at his Christmas party. The room mom sent these pictures to me.....
I really hope so.....I want my kids to be known as the nice kids....the ones that never were rude. I know that is a big want but they are capable of it!
Maybe a little bit sometimes.....I love my Porter and I hope he knows it!!
Porter has done great in the accelerated learning class. I think it has been a really good challenge for him and he has learned a lot. Although, He did tell me the other day he was too smart for 5th grade and needs to skip it. I don't think that would be a good idea!
I love Mrs. Winterton too. She has been an amazing teacher and helped Porter ALOT! She is the perfect one to handle all these crazy kids quirky behavior:)
