Day 3 In Washington D.C.

On our last day in Washington D.C. we went out to visit George Washington's estate. He was a good man and lived quite a life!
These statues are of him, his wife and two step grandchildren. I was surprised to find out he didn't have any children of his own.
Overlooking the river. It was so pretty with so many green trees and bushes.
 A little panoramic view also.
This is the back of his house. It was quite impressive but still crazy that they didn't have any indoor plumbing.
This tree was so huge!! You can't tell as much by the picture but it was so pretty too!
George Washington's tombstone.
We were instructed to be very quiet here too. Kinda funny that the guard was noisy then when we  loosened up we got reprimanded. Weird!
We then headed out to get some delicious dinner because like I said earlier we liked to eat on this trip!
This place was a little bit of heaven also! Some delicious Italian food:)
One of the places that lady at Senator Lee's office recommended!
My baby and I when our belly's are all full!
We then headed over and checked out Georgetown University.
It is such a cool looking college. It was really old but so cool!
It is the summer so there weren't very many students but the building was open so we took ourselves on a nice little tour!
When we were done walking in the rain and riding the bus back to our car we found a delicious Krispy Kreme and ate way too many donuts!
The next day we got on a flight home and were so happy to see our babies!!
