If I haven't mentioned it already then I will now....I was so so sad to hear that Aaron was going to be gone for my birthday. Growing up my birthday seemed to be a sad day for me. Mainly in High School. Bad things always happened with my friends in the fall and sometimes it even landed on my birthday that I found out devastating news of boyfriends and friends. Just a crappy day! So, when I got married I always thought I would have the best day because I wouldn't need to worry about the fact that someone wouldn't want to make my day the best day ever!! Well, the most devastating news came when I found out that Aaron would be leaving me on my birthday to go on a trip that he won with friends. It was by far the worst birthday I have ever had. I went through the motions of the day and despite my sisters every attempt to make it a good one it was still a sad day. I just wanted to be with Aaron. Brianne even came up to spend the week with me-Chase went also....Anyway, when I knew Aaron was going to leave I had to try to make up for it and plan something fun with my friends...Well, we planned a trip to Hawaii and it was going to be Amazing! The friends I went with were: Jen Bailey, Danielle Wright, Anne Vernon, Katie Hafen and Lacey Bacik.
Aaron was still in Japan when we left so our trips overlapped a bit......
My backseat buddies driving to Vegas to catch our flight.....
Landing in Hawaii I saw this plane and told Aaron I was coming to him. I mean, I was about halfway there:)
I stayed in Hawaii for an amazing trip!
The lovely group of ladies I went with:)
We stayed in a nice little Condo next to Turtle Bay....We all took a ride on this lovely turtle:)
Then we got hungry and headed to find a nice little pizza stand on the side of the road.....
Anne and I just loving the Neapolitan Pizza.
It really was yummy!
We all shared, except Lacey, she needed her own pizaa:) She didn't like the kind we chose.....I mean, why not, doesn't it look delicious!!
Oh then we took another picture!
Can't really see us but this was the idea....
And the pizza man himself.....He quoted us a pretty sweet line about a weird dude that kept hanging out. It went something like this
"He means well, something just isn't right"
He seemed drunk, but we weren't really sure what his deal was....
"He means well, something just isn't right"
He seemed drunk, but we weren't really sure what his deal was....
And we were ready for the time of our lives!
