Our last day at Lake Powell came with a little bit of drama but we'll get to that a little later!
I was ready to go home and get this little babe back on her schedule. Even though she was a great sleeper, she still sleeps better at home!
One last relaxing, day at Lake Powell!
Porter is the first to grab Tiv and just have fun with her! He is such a good big brother!
Once again when the babies went down we headed out on the lake. This time we took kids with us and enjoyed some rays while the kids had some fun!
Porter is getting really good at surfing and loves it!
He would go to the lake everyday if he could!
Madi got up and surfed for a couple of seconds. She is getting pretty brave.
I think it is secretly hard that her little brother is a bit more athletic than she is.
It's o.k. Madi, some boys just have it!
Aaron was mainly the driver of course so we didn't see him out very often but he did jump in occasionally.
The little boys stayed back while we went out on the boat.
When we came back these crazy kids were covered in mud!!
Who said Lake Powell was clean??AARON!!
At least they had a good time together with their friends!
Now for the drama.......
My Madi is definitely turning into a little tween!
Melissa came up to the front of the boat while we were out and said to keep her kids away from her because they were driving her nuts. So, when Kinzlee came up to the front I put my finger up. Kinzlee then walked to the back of the boat and started crying. Madi then got upset with me that I had made her friend sad. One thing led to another. Aaron and Chase ended up throwing all the kids in the lake and Madi was mad at me. Madi and I had a talk then Aaron came in to help out. I left and came into the room to see the above picture^^ Aaron had made Madi all warm and cozy and put Tiv's shorts on her head. He was having a counseling session. I can say I honestly love this about Aaron. He can talk to our kids like I can't. I hope he always stays this way and has patience for the tweens.
The older kids on the boat ended up writing us a letter and letting us know how they felt. We responded and I think it all worked out just fine.
And that was the drama to end the trip!!
